Mission Statement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Iota Kappa Alumni Chapter of Sigma Nu Foundation secures and provides enduring resources to support the educational and charitable initiatives of Sigma Nu Fraternity Iota Kappa Chapter and its National organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

United by our values, we are to enhance the student experience and prepare members as future business leaders for success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Core Values<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Iota Kappa Alumni Chapter of Sigma Nu Foundation holds itself to eight core values within three major areas: building relationships, demonstrating excellence, and making an impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

United by our principles, The Iota Kappa Alumni Chapter of Sigma Nu Foundation is dedicated to promoting the cardinal principles of its National fraternal organization:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love<\/strong><\/em> – It is expressed by kindness and consideration, by a willingness to give and take, to adjust, to talk things out with open frankness, yet to be spared of sarcasm, cynicism, and stinging criticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truth<\/strong><\/em> – Fraternity is so basic that it must be fixed on a solid foundation and cannot safely be subjected to pretense or to deceit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honor<\/strong><\/em> – The Honor Code is a belief in personal integrity as the fundamental attribute of character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supported Charities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community<\/em> \u2013 Work with the community of Chico<\/a> to plan and participate in philanthropy projects critical to its well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

University<\/em> \u2013 Work with California State University, Chico<\/a> and establish a strong connection through volunteerism and academic excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sigma Nu Educational Foundation<\/a><\/em> \u2013 Work with our National organization and support its foundation through monetary donations.<\/p>\n\n\n
